Missing or extracted teeth raise common concerns, including poor dental health and an unappealing smile. A high-quality dental restoration is a key to a healthy, happy smile. Crown Dental has lots of options for your missing teeth.
When it comes to replacing missing teeth, there are a number of options available to you that are offered by Crown Dental Group. The most common of these options are:
What are dental implants?
Dental implants are the most advanced options for patients looking to replace missing teeth. An implant is a small titanium fixture that serves as a replacement for the tooth root of the missing tooth. Made from medical grade titanium and combined with a custom created crown, implants provide a secure and natural looking long-term replacement for the entire missing tooth including its root.
What are the benefits of dental implants?
Replacing a missing tooth with implant dentistry comes with a range of health benefits. Some of these benefits include:
Preventing other teeth from migrating
When you lose a tooth, the teeth on either side of the gap start to shift in an attempt to cover the gap. This is problematic as it can cause your teeth to become misaligned.
Looking after the health of your jaw
By replacing the tooth root with a dental implant, the growth-stimulating pressure is restored to your jaw.
Encourage healthy digestion
A missing tooth has negative impacts on your digestion. Replacing this gap encourages healthy digestion and in turn, benefits your overall health and well-being.
Improving the aesthetics of your smile
An incomplete smile can lead to patients feeling self-conscious and uncomfortable when smiling. Dental implants offer a solution for missing teeth; rejuvenating the cosmetic appearance of your teeth.
What are dentures?
There is a misconception surrounding dentures, including messy adhesives, annoying cleaning routines and the embarrassment of slipping out. We are here to bust these myths and let you know that high-quality dentures offer a comfortable, sturdy and incredibly natural-looking solution for a single missing tooth, multiple and full mouth restoration.
